Schneider Electric MCB Padlock for use with the Acti 9 Range
Acti 9 is a range of distribution boards from Schneider Electric, this 18 mm MCB padlock is fully compatible with the Acti 9 range. Completely seal-able this locking accessory provides a safety lock, where the key lock can be set in the ON or OFF position. As a padlocking device once in position a range of safety padlock types can be used to prevent removal for additional security (must be bought separately).
This device features small wire clips which engage behind the toggle of a circuit breaker fixing it in place.

Applications:
Used to lockout circuit breakers or circuit boards safely, therefore preventing accidental switch on. Electricians would use a lockout whilst making repairs to ensure power cannot be supplied or accidentally switched on to the area of repair, these are available in a range of different types and parts. A lockout or MCB padlock can prevent shocks or extreme injury that would result from someone prematurely reactivating a circuit. This MCB padlock can also increase compliance with the European Norm 1037 and the EU Guideline 89/655 within a workplace.
