SAE Flange Seal Kits offer a variety of seal sizes to fit SAE J518 location grooves. The SAE seals are rectangular in cross-section and have point-contact seal lips. The seals are designed to accurately locate within machine housings. Manufactured from high grade of polyurethane, specifically developed for arduous sealing applications, the material provides excellent resistance to gap extrusion and compression.

SAE O-Ring Flange and Hose End Kits contain a variety of cost-effective popular sizes to suit general engineering applications, with o-rings manufactured from Nitrile rubber (NBR) of 90 Shore hardness. Nitrile rubber is suitable for high temperature environments and offers resistance to greases and fats.

What is an O-Ring?

Seals and O-rings are used to join two parts of a machine, engine or other mechanical assemblies by filling the space between both parts, creating a filled and seal space in between. This seal prevents particle, vapour and fluid leakage which in turn protects and maintains pressure whilst keeping debris out, ensuring proper function and safety.
